Highland Park House offers luxury, family owned and run Bed & Breakfast, in this imposing Victorian mansion. Our delicious full Scottish breakfasts are individually prepared to order, using many local ingredients. The eggs may well be laid by our very own team of Highland Park chickens and if the ducks are in the mood, they also contribute!
There are six guest rooms; three have en suite facilities, one has a private bathroom, and two share a bathroom. The rooms are furnished to suit the house, with items such as Victorian iron and brass bedsteads and art nouveau wardrobes. ROOM 1: The Tower Room ( double en suite)
A lovely, bright room with a Victorian double bed, situated in the centre of the tower. Windows with window seats to two sides and views over Kirkwall to Wideford Hill and Weyland Bay.
ROOM 2: Double En suite
A large, comfortable room with a double bed and period furnishings. Views over Kirkwall and the Highland Park Distillery to Wideford Hill.
ROOM 3: (standard twin)
This is a large, bright room with two single beds. Wide windows with window seats enjoying views to Wideford Hill and Weyland Bay. This room is not en suite, but has a private w/c shower room close by

ROOM 5: The South Wing Room
(king-size with private bathroom)
An elegant, spacious, bright, dual aspect room with views over open farmland to the south. This room has a king-sized half-tester bed, and a beautiful private bathroom with shower over full tub next door.
ROOM 6: The West Wing Room
(king-size, en suite)
A spacious, bright room at the west end of the house. This room has a UK King-size bed and dual aspect views over the gardens to Wideford Hill and Weyland Bay.
THE TOWER SUITE
Double room plus a lounge (which will accommodate a third adult) and en suite bathroom
This is a spectacular light and airy large room at the top of our imposing square tower. It offers views from the front of the building over the Highland Park Distillery, across to Kirkwall, the sea, islands and hills beyond. The accommodation also includes a long loft lounge with comfortable seating and lots of space to relax in. The substantial sofa bed will accommodate a third adult comfortably if required. Please note that this accommodation is at the top of the building and the only access is via stairs. The final steps to the tower suite are quite steep. There is an additional charge for a third person.
